FISCAM/Cybersecurity Specialist

General Description
Duties and responsibilities
- Assist in assessment and authorization activities for AFSAC systems.
- Use the Enterprise Mission Assurance Service (eMASS) to document security control test results.
- Create and update Risk Management Framework (RMF) related artifacts specific to NIST security control families.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure that systems support the organization's business requirements and meet the needs of end-users.
- Evaluate key AFSAC systems and documentation for FISCAM guidance compliance.
- Update key documents to align them with current FISCAM guidance. Coordinate updates for stakeholder review and signature.
- Draft status reports and position papers recommending strategies to achieve audit readiness.
- Evaluate IT and system processes/controls against Government mandated Compliance Guidance to determine the effectiveness of system controls.
Specialized Knowledge
The successful candidate will have knowledge and expertise in the following areas:
- Federal Information System Controls Audit Manual (FISCAM)
- NIST standards and guidelines
- Experienced in interfacing with technical, functional, and senior system program personnel.
- Experience studying and analyzing system or process problems and needs of selected programs to determine how to best solve the problems and accomplish improvements in audit readiness and/or systems integration.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or related field.

Clearance
None required.
Experience
3+ years’ experience in FISCAM compliance support.
Citizenship
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Skills and Abilities
Strong understanding of FISCAM compliance requirements.
Other Characteristics (e.g., Personal or Language)
Excellent oral, written, and communication in English. Must be able to work in a team environment with members that include personnel from other companies, Government program management and administrative personnel, and technical staff members.
Working conditions, including location
Combination of remote work with the ability to work on-site at WPAFB, OH at least one day per week. In addition, must have the ability to travel to WPAFB, OH within two hours for specially called meetings.
Client duty hours Monday through Friday.
