General Description
The successful candidate will provide Oracle database administration to the Air Force’s Human Resources (HR) Family of Systems software development and system modernization efforts in San Antonio, TX.  The successful candidate will provide technical support to maintain the United States Air Force (USAF) and United States Space Force (USSF) Human Resources (HR) Information Technology (IT) Portfolio of systems within the Oracle Enterprise Business Systems (eBS) application environment. Oracle Audit Vault and Database Firewall will provide an audit trail of who executed the changes in addition to providing Segregation of Duties (SoD) for all database roles. This individual will be responsible for monitoring the audit trail for compliance purposes.


Duties and responsibilities
The successful candidate will monitor and utilize Oracle Enterprise Manager, Oracle Audit Vault, and Database Firewall applications for two Oracle EBS environments (MilPDS and AFIPPS). This individual will be responsible for the following, but not limited to:
  • Perform maintenance and administration of the Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM), Oracle Database Vault, and Oracle Audit Vault Servers independently of system operations to provide Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) mandated segregation of duties (SoD)
  • Be responsible for maintaining configuration control of all OEM capabilities, verify/validate “ALL” changes detected by Oracle Auditing and reported via Oracle Audit Vault
  • Be responsible for reviewing, implementing, maintaining, and updating Oracle Auditing configurations
  • Ensure SoD through direct oversight of the changes to the production baseline made by the system operations DBA team
  • Interpret logs, collect and monitor unauthorized changes, performed in concert with configuration management personnel who maintain the authorized library of changes that were approved for the production environment
  • Review audit logs and provide information to the government on who made changes to the front and back end of the system
  • Provide knowledge and expertise in the Ansible product suite
  • Monitor table maintenance and activities through MilPDS Data Loads that are performed
  • Provide continuous monitoring and auditing of the MilPDS and AFIPPS environments

Specialized Knowledge
  • Must have Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) working experience
  • Must have Oracle Advanced Security Option working experience
  • Must have Oracle Database Vault (DBV) working experience
  • Must have Oracle Audit Vault (AV) working experience
  • Must have knowledge of Oracle Transparent Data Encryption and Network Encryption (TDE)
  • Must have knowledge of Oracle Key Vault (OKV)
  • Must have knowledge of Oracle Data Masking (DM)
  • Must be familiar with the Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform

Education
•    Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Engineering, Mathematics, or Business.


Professional Certifications
An active CompTIA Security+ or CISSP.

Clearance
Must either have an active NACLC/T3/Secret Clearance or be able to obtain the same.

Experience
10 years of relevant experience. In addition, experience with HR/payroll modules of Oracle R12.2.4 and above is a plus.

U.S. Citizen or Similar
Must be a U.S. Citizen

Skills and Abilities
Experience with database management of Oracle databases.

Must be a self-starter who can manage work efforts with minimal leadership oversight. Must have excellent analysis and problem-solving skills. Must also have excellent time-management skills as well as excellent oral, written, organizational, documentation, and communication skills. Must be able to work in a team environment with personnel from other companies, government program management and administrative personnel, and technical staff members.

Working conditions, including location
It can be fully remote.
Client duty hours are Monday through Friday.
