General Description
This position provides acquisition management support to the Deliberate and Crisis Action Planning and Execution System (DCAPES) Program Management Office (PMO). The successful candidate prepares, develops, analyzes, and assists the Government in completing acquisition documents, events, and activities in accordance with (IAW) the principles, criteria, and procedures of the Adaptive Acquisition Framework, and applicable DOD, Air Force and Air Force Material Command instructions, regulations, memorandums, and guidance documents for acquisitions programs.

Education
Bachelor's degree in business management, information technology or related fields of study.
Professional Certifications
None required; however, PM/PMP are preferred.
Clearance Required
Existing or ability to obtain a Secret Security clearance.
Experience
Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience supporting government acquisition management.
U.S. Citizen or Similar
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Other Characteristics (e.g., Personal or Language)
Excellent oral, written, and communication in English. Must be able to work in a team environment with members that include personnel from other companies, Government program management and administrative personnel, and technical staff members. Must be able to perform with minimal management oversight and have strong time management skills.
Working conditions, including location
1 day per week on-site at Maxwell AFB-Gunter Annex; 4 days per week remote.
Client duty hours are Monday through Friday.

$90 to $110k Annually

Duties and responsibilities
The successful candidate will perform the following:
- Ensure all applicable statutory and regulatory guidance has been addressed in program acquisition documentation
- Knowledge of the Adaptive Acquisition Framework
- Provide knowledge of acquisition category program requirements, reviews, and associated documentation.
- Monitor and interpret directives, instructions, policy memorandums, regulations, and statutory requirements to ensure program office and system compliance and provide recommendations as necessary.
- Assist the CDT with acquisition tasks as assigned to include supporting source selection activities, producing Government schedules, reports, briefings, and other essential information. Attend meetings, reviews, and working groups and participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
- Maintain data entry/maintenance of acquisition program-specific information in status reporting systems such as Information Technology Investment Portfolio System (ITIPS), Program Data Alignment Application (PDAA), Defense Acquisition Visibility Environment (DAVE), Project Management Resource Tools (PMRT) or other systems as directed.
- Assist with the Government’s review of System Developer documentation and performance against the schedule and individual tasks on the schedule.
- Research, create, prepare, analyze, deliver, and manage mandated acquisition and program documents.
The successful candidate will have knowledge in the following areas:
- Knowledge and experience communicating organizational policies, purposes, and goals to team members.
- Knowledge of how to diagnose problems, think critically, organize information, and develop optimal solutions for complex issues.
Education
